The principle of feeder is as follows

(2) Reduce the setting of the riser to ensure the molten steel required for casting feeding. When we are producing large castings, in order to ensure the full feeding of the castings, we often make the riser very large, which greatly increases the cost of the castings and makes the products uncompetitive. The use of riser feeding agent can make full use of the amount of steel in the riser, reducing unnecessary waste, the setting of the riser can be reduced by 30%-50%, and the casting will not produce defects such as shrinkage porosity and shrinkage cavity, effectively reducing the rejection rate of the casting, reducing the cost of the casting, and increasing the process yield by about 8%. The riser feeding agent is used as follows
(1) After pouring molten steel, immediately add the feeder evenly to the riser, with a thickness of 2-3cm, and try not to expose the liquid level in the riser to the air.
(2) the scope of use of riser feeding agent: suitable for cast iron, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and other casting types of materials, as well as a variety of different methods of casting types, such as coated sand casting, resin sand casting, lost foam casting and so on.
(3) Preservation method of riser feeding agent: The riser feeding agent that has been opened and in use should not be exposed to the air for a long time to avoid moisture.
